I have never seen anything like this, other than on shows where people train birds and other animals to do tricks. But to think that this family in Russia just happened to catch this wild crow catching some powder cracks me up. Who would have known that crows were so smart?! Speaking of powder, where is the snow this year?
-Have you ever seen a wild animal do something that surprised you?
-Has your town had any snow this year?
I am still laughing at my kids’ Santa photo from last year. Jasmine and I avoid posting photos of our kids on PureBebe (yes, we are paranoid), but we both feel that it’s better to be safe than sorry. Judging from some of the search terms that people use and land on our site, we are both really thankful that there aren’t a gazillion photos of our kids (attached to our names) floating out there in cyberspace.
So unfortunately I can’t share the photo. I can, however, tell you that my 1 year old is crying hysterically while my 2 year old (at the time) has this shy, but sweet smile on her face. And my one year old who’s crying is wearing a T-shirt that clearly states “99% Angel.”
I guess we caught her in her other 1%.
I happened to catch this video last night and was cracking up at these photos, too, from Ellen.
I mean, who wouldn’t be weirded out by a man wearing a white and red suit, with facial hair down to his chest?! Not that there’s anything wrong with facial hair. Just sayin’…
A friend of mine emailed me this video earlier this week. While I see funny videos on the web all the time, I can’t remember the last time I laughed this hard for 10 minutes straight.
I’m dreading the day that I have to have the ‘birds and the bees’ conversation with my kids. If my kids are as curious as Julia’s, that means I only have another 4 years…
When do you plan to have the ‘birds and the bees’ conversation with your child(ren)? Will you initiate the conversation or let them bring it up to you?
NOTE: Please do not watch this video around children, or you might find yourself having the ‘birds and the bees’ conversation - today. :)
Phew, not only is today Earth Day, PureBebe’s 1 year Anniversary and Fantastically Funny Friday, it is our SITS Day!
Welcome to PureBebe, SITStas!
For our readers who might not be familiar with SITS (“The Secret is in the Sauce”), it is a blogging community comprised of 8,000+ members, led by Tiffany, Francesca, and Kathy B.
Every Friday here at PureBebe, we publish a Fantastically Funny Friday article, as a prelude to the weekend ahead. We love to highlight hilarious quotes from our little ones, as well as videos and/or photos that we come across. We decided to stick with tradition today and share some of our newly submitted and all-time favorite quotes, straight from the mouths of our youngsters:
Madeleine (Maddy), 2 1/2
[Looking at wedding picture of mommy & daddy]
MADDY: Look, there’s mommy and there’s daddy! Where’s Maddy?
MOMMY [pointing to tummy]: Maddy’s in mommy’s tummy.
MADDY: [staring with wide eyes] Mommy ate Maddy?
Kyla, 2 1/2 [Sitting on Daddy's lap]
DADDY: Whoaaaa! What was that? Are you going poop in your underwear – on daddy’s lap?
KYLA: No, just tootin. And going pee pee a little bit.
Kate, 3
KATE: I have a big bum.
MOMMY: No you don’t, you have a cute little bum.
KATE: Mom, YOU have a really big bum.
Tyler, 3
“The other day I was struggling to get my son to brush his teeth before bed. He wanted to play with his car rather than listen to mommy.”
MOMMY: I am losing my patience
TYLER: No, don’t lose it mommy.
Casey, 3
[To his daddy] CASEY: You shouldn’t put hair in your armpits. That’s not good.
Tyler, 3 (Yes, we have quotes from two different Tylers!)
“I asked Tyler (3 yrs old) if he wanted to wear his fleece to school. He then belted out a great version of ‘Feliz [pronounced "fleece"] Navidad,’ proud of himself. His fleece will forever be known as his Feliz Navidad!”
Next, we have a video of two scrumptiously cute little girls, Sophia and Zephra, who eloquently answered the question “What makes the world a better place?” I don’t know about you, but a popcorn tree in my house would certainly make my world a much, much better place.
Many wishes for a happy and “pure” Friday!
-Heather and Jasmine
What funny thoughts have your kids shared?
If you have any quotes that you’d like to share with PureBebe’s readers, please email us your child’s first name, age, and tantalizing words of wisdom, at PureBebeBlog@gmail.com.
Our videos today highlight three 18 month old darlings (at least that’s the age we estimate for these three sweet babies). ;) Check out the cutie in our first video. Is she adorable or what?!
We meant to post our next video last week, but forgot to include it. So in case you haven’t yet seen these two 18 month old twin boys having a very engaging conversation, you must check it out. My 19 month old thought this was hilarious. Maybe she knew what they were saying? ;)
This Friday is all about Evian – that’s right, the water company (and no, they don’t pay us!). Don’t know why we chose Evian as the theme, but these videos were irresistable and spoke to us. We hope they make you laugh, too!

Today’s Fantastically Funny Friday is all about kids exploring their own and their friends’ bodies (or just saying the names of their body parts by mistake).
This adorable fellow seems to have found a particular part of his body…and apparently doesn’t want to lose it…
And, as always, some comic relief from the mouths of our youngsters…
Joshua, 4
Joshua has trouble pronouncing the ["st"] sound; he makes the ["d"] sound instead (we’ll keep it clean, so you’ll have to use your imagination).
[Around a campfire, Josh is anxiously waiting to roast his marshmallows].
Joshua: Can I put my [st]ick in the fire yet?
On another occasion at the beach…
[Excitedly showing his aunt his treasure from the beach]
Joshua: Hey, I have a big [st]ick, do you want to see it?
‘T’, 2
[‘T’ and daddy are playing a game when T hits his elbow on the edge of the coffee table. T grabs his elbow, whimpering.]
DADDY: Did you hit your funny bone?
T: Not funny daddy!
George, 3
GEORGE: [Seeing a 3 year old girl friend naked for the first time]: What kind of folded penis is that?
Here’s another funny quote that we just had to add; this one is exempt from the theme…
Kyla, 2
KYLA [Talking to Daddy]: When I was little, I called you Dada. Now that I’m big I call you Daddy. When I’m really, really big I will call you ‘Mark.’
